The complete process is rather straight forward and is executed without any glitches. We will do a fresh installation of the software on your server installing the latest stable release which is currently available. Set up of the email parser is included in the purchase.

Things to consider before purchasing

  • Our Services department is available from Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Indian Standard Time (GMT + 5.5). We expect your order to be completed within 24 – 48 business hours provided we have all the required information.
  • We do not sell Kayako licenses; you need to obtain a valid software license from Kayako before purchasing our services.
  • Licenses are validated with Kayako prior to the installation of the software. Any license failing the validation will not be installed.
  • Our installation services do not include editing the server set up. It is assumed that your host meets all the necessary software requirements.
  • If we are to edit the server set up; it may attract an additional charge. Additional cost, if any, will be informed in advance and only when approved the installation will be carried out.
  • Our installation services do not include setting up third party add-ons or plugins. This can be done at an additional cost.
  • Refunds are not possible once the necessary information to perform the installation has been provided by you and work has commenced.
  • This is a one time service which includes 1 instance of software installation.
  • Installation services do not include installation of the Geo IP library and files.

What information is required

To execute the installation and configuration service, we shall require the following information

In case of a UNIX server

  • Control panel access information – cPanel / PLESK.
  • FTP access information – FTP host, Username, Password and the directory in which the software needs to be installed in.
  • Kayako Members Area access information – to get the license key for the software.
  • Staff Users to be set up in the software – Name, Email Address and preferred usernames.
  • Departments to be set up in the software.
  • Email Queues for each department (example for Sales the email queue is sales@domain.com).
Root access to the server can be required to set up email piping or to set up a cron on the server.

In case of a Windows server

  • Remote access information for “Admin” user to the server.
  • FTP access information – FTP host, Username, Password and the directory in which the software needs to be installed in.
  • Link to phpMyAdmin with MySQL root user details to set up the database for the software.
  • Kayako Members Area access information – to get the license key for the software.
  • Staff Users to be set up in the software – Name, Email Address and preferred usernames.
  • Departments to be set up in the software.
  • POP3/IMAP accounts with details for each department (example for Sales the email queue is sales@domain.com) – POP3 Username, Password, Mail Host, Port, With SSL (Yes/No).
